Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, boleros from the past, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. She began singing and learning songs with her mother then began more intense training in singing at the age of 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. Her early professional career saw her perform with many orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving in America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to sing the same.
