MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene is influenced by his global impact. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. This album peaked at eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was A Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. He also collaborated with Noriel to record Mala Influencia in 2020 and next year, released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. In 2021, he appeared in a duo with TINI for her hit online single Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was first released in 2023. Turizo is a product of a musical household both his parents also are musicians. According to him, music was an integral element of his existence. When he was young, he taught to play the saxophone, piano and guitar. His first career choice was to become a vet however, his brother Julian convinced him to study to sing by working with a Cuban instructor. In the end, discovering that he had talents for singing, changed the course his life.
